About the Junk Journal Society
The Junk Journal Society is an online membership community where junk journal crafters of all levels and walks of life gather to share their passion for the one thing we have in common: our passion for junk journaling.
This is a vibrant and supportive space where members can stop by anytime to find inspiration, start a new project, or learn something new. Collaborating with kindred spirits who are on a similar path is the secret sauce to a fun and rewarding community and learning experience. No matter what you decide to do when you log in to our Mighty Network, you’ll be able to collaborate with others, ask questions, and share ideas easily.

Meet the creator
Welcome, I’m Shara, the creator of Junk Journal Society.
I created the Junk Journal Society because I wanted an inspiring space to connect and create with other junk journal crafters. I couldn’t find the community I was looking for, so I created it!
I consider myself to be the facilitator of fun, learning, and collaboration at Junk Journal Society. I believe the members make a community, and everyone should feel comfortable to ask questions and share ideas. This is how we all learn and make progress. Whether you are just getting started, or you’ve been making junk journals for any length of time, you can count on me to help you get the most from being a part of our vibrantly creative community.
My experience as a teacher and my advanced training as an instructional designer has fueled my fire to build a creative learning community that makes it easy and fun for members to learn through collaborative experiences.

02. Foamy Coffee Drinks
I love coffee… All kinds of coffee. the foamier the better! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be French Roast!
04. Fairy Lights
My cozy lighting system would not be complete without fairy lights. I just love them!
06. Cozy Ambiance
Having a cozy workspace is a necessity for me. I almost always have some sort of cozy or seasonal Ambiance video playing on my TV while I’m working.
01. My Team
My team is always by my side. They patiently support me when I work, and I take them out for lots of adventures to reward them!
03. Cupcakes
Cupcakes are my go-to treat when I want to reward myself, or if I had a stressful day. They always make everything better!
